The Rab Tailed Spirit Sub Ability is a Mode Sub Ability that can be obtained by defeating the Rab Spirit boss, which spawns in the Tempest Village at 4:20 AM/PM EST with a 1/10 chance.
Description
By holding Z, the user can activate Rab Tailed Spirit, initially starting at Stage 1. The user can switch between stages by holding Z and pressing the stage's corresponding number (except Tentacion Mode), as long as they meet the sub-ability level requirements of the stage. This mode drains 40 MD per second.
For Stages 1 of Rab Tailed Spirit, the user the user goes down on all fours similar to Okami's mode and gains a white translucent cloak with a pair of small rabbit ears and a large scut (rabbit tail).
For Stage 2 of Rab Tailed Spirit, the user's cloak becomes opaque and their face is replaced with a bestial appearance.
For Stage 3 of Rab Tailed Spirit, the user's cloak loses it tail and gains a certain pattern.
For Stage 4 of Rab Tailed Spirit, the cloak alters itself to resemble a full-length haori, and regains its tail.
For Stage 5, the cloak alters itself to resemble a coat, and loses its tail. The user's hair glows the same color as their Tailed Spirit, seven black orbs hover behind them, and two short black rods appear on their outer thighs. The user also appears to be wearing a black body suit underneath their coat, with six tiny circles under their neck and a circle on their stomach.
For Tentacion Mode, the user's cloak mostly disappears except for its tail, with a simple cape appearing on their back and black pigments that resemble long eyebrows around their eyes. Tentacion Mode can only be manually activated by the user when they type and enter !tentacion in the chat. Upon activation, the user will have 50% of their health, and 100% of their Chi, Stamina, and MD restored. However, they will not be able to use Tentacion Mode again for 10 minutes after their MD runs out.
Ability
For Stage 1, after pressing Z while in this mode, the user roars loudly and fires four Easter eggs at the direction of the cursor, which deal damage and explode into large fireballs upon impact. This ability does not use Chi and has a 20 second cooldown.
For Stage 2, after pressing Z while in this mode, the user creates a fireball in front of their face, before launching it at the direction of the cursor, creating a giant explosion that deals damage multiple times upon impact. This ability does not use Chi and has a 20 second cooldown. Pressing Z while holding down right-click allows the user to use the ability from Stage 1-2.
For Stage 3, after pressing Z while in this mode, the users raises their right hand and creates a fireball with four yellow Easter eggs swirling around it, before throwing it at the direction of the cursor, causing a giant explosion of fire that damages and knocks back enemies hit by it. This ability does not use Chi and has a 30 second cooldown. From this stage onwards, the user's speed is significantly boosted, and their dash is replaced with teleport.
For Stage 4, after pressing Z while in this mode, the user summons the Rab Spirit and rides on top of it, which rampages around before creating a fireball with four yellow Easter eggs swirling around it (similar to Stage 3's attack) in front of its mouth and launching it at the direction of the mouse cursor. This ability does not Chi and has a 30 second cooldown. Pressing Z while holding down right-click allows the user to use the ability from Stage 3.
For Stage 5, after pressing Z while in this mode, the user summons the Rab Spirit and rides on top of it, controlling its movements for roughly 10 seconds, during which the user can fire a fireball with four yellow Easter eggs swirling around it (similar to Stage 4's attack, but with lower damage) every 3 seconds at the direction of their cursor by clicking, which deal damage and explode upon impact. This ability does not use Chi to summon the Rab Spirit, uses 500 MD to fire a fireball, and has a cooldown of 30 seconds. Pressing Z while holding down right-click allows the user to use the ability from Stage 4.
For Tentacion Mode, after pressing Z while in this mode, the user summons the Rab Spirit and briefly stands on top of it, before flying towards the direction of the cursor while wielding two fireballs with yellow eggs swirling around them in each hand. Upon impact, the user creates two giant explosions of fire, damaging and burning enemies hit by them. Meanwhile, the summoned Rab Spirit behaves exactly like the Rab Spirit boss and will automatically attack nearby players with its special attacks for 20 seconds before despawning. This ability does not use Chi and does not have a cooldown. Pressing Q allows the user to use the Z ability from Stage 5. While this mode is active, the user's basic melee attacks emit teal sparks and drain Chi from the enemies they hit, they passively teleports every second in the direction they are moving, and have a chance to automatically dodge an attack.
For Stage 1-4, after pressing Q while in this mode, the user roars loudly, dealing damage to nearby enemies multiple times. This ability does not use Chi and has a 12 second cooldown.
For Stage 5, after pressing Q while in this mode, the user shoots several large black orbs at the direction of the cursor, which explode upon impact and deal great knockback, and are also capable of homing. This move uses 3,700 Stamina and has a cooldown of 13 seconds. Pressing Q while holding down right-click allows the user to use the ability from Stage 3. While this mode is active, the user's basic melee attacks are done with the two black rods, which behave the same as Weapon Ninja Tools.

Trivia
- Rab Tailed Spirit, unlike every other Tailed Spirit Mode, does not have a Gen 1 variant.
- Unlike most Generation 2 Tailed Spirit Modes, Rab Tailed Spirit's colors cannot be customized. This is only shared with the Tyn Tailed Spirit.
- Rab Tailed Spirit used to spawn in the Ember Village, had a spawn chance of 1/40 and used to be only available during the Easter event.
- Rab Tailed Spirit, unlike the other Tailed Spirit Sage of Six Path Modes, cannot fly while holding down space.
